From listing and quotes to funded work, completion, dispute or payout: each state has a responsible actor, a required confirmation and a visible next step.
Every state below is enforced by the platform and recorded on the task timeline. Payments run through a simulated provider in this environment, so no real money moves.

Tasker journey
1
Verify contact and profileUse risk-based checks; show badges without exposing private identity or payout details.
2
Read task and quoteAsk questions in-platform. Quote for the stated work; extra work requires both sides to approve a change.
3
Wait for funded statusDo not start based on a screenshot, poster claim or direct UPI transfer. Wait for platform notification.
4
Start and check inConfirm start, preserve in-app records and check in. Stop and report if the location or request feels unsafe.
5
Submit completionSummarize completed work and attach only relevant evidence. Never upload unnecessary sensitive data.
6
Receive payoutAfter approval, payout is instructed to the verified beneficiary and marked complete after provider confirmation.
Exception routes: failed payment → task stays unfunded; scope disagreement → record the change; cancellation → follow the status-based refund terms; safety report → urgent human triage; completion dispute → pause only the contested amount; payment mismatch → reconcile against provider records before marking paid.
Once completion is confirmed, the task poster rates the doer and the doer rates the poster against task-specific behavior. The pair publishes together after both submit or the review window closes. People can respond, report or appeal. Reputation uses verified task history and does not infer personality.
